Most sales incentives aren’t actually motivating — Blueboard incentives are changing the game. Request a demo today and learn more about how to build a sales incentive program that'll motivate your whole team to play bigger, and drive real results.
Companies spend tons of money to incentivize salespeople, but the results are often underwhelming. Status quo incentives and sales SPIFFs don’t account for what really drives salespeople to perform. With Blueboard, you can incentivize your reps with experiences that are proven to have a greater impact on motivation.
Blueboard makes it easy to incentivize and reward your sales reps with their choice of personalized experiences. Save time and give sellers more of what they want in a sales incentive program: flexibility, choice, and time back.
With Blueboard, you can inspire your team to hit goals and change behaviors with experiences that never go stale.
Blueboard sales incentives will always feel personal to the people who earn them because they get to choose what’s right for them.
Sales incentive programs can be a pain to manage. Fortunately, Blueboard makes it super simple to incentivize with experiences.
Whether you’re building an incentive program from scratch, or updating an existing one—Blueboard’s got your back. Our experts are standing by to help you:
Structuring your program rules is the first and most important step in developing a sales incentive program that’ll drive real results. We’ll walk you through key considerations to guide you, like:
What outcomes are you trying to achieve?
How will you determine your budget?
What do you know about past programs?
One of the biggest struggles sales leaders face when it comes to incentives is maintaining awareness, visibility, and buzz around the program. We’ll help you develop a communication strategy that includes things like:
Hosting a formal (and exciting) program launch
Communicating clearly and consistently across channels
Planting seeds for future reward opportunities
Research shows that experiential rewards perform better than cash bonuses when you look at impact on motivation and job satisfaction. We’ll help you deliver experiences that wow sales reps, like
VIP tickets to see their favorite band
Taking the family to Disney World
Racing the latest Ferrari
Here are two examples to consider as you evaluate your own sales incentive program mechanics, plus a sampling of available Blueboard experiences that reps could enjoy:
Incentivize with Blueboard rewards for monthly or quarterly sales contests, or to drive performance from your channel partners.
Moonlit kayaking adventure to see the bioluminescence.
Indulge and relax through luxurious body treatments.
An in home golf simulator to up-level your game!
With our alternative to the traditional President’s Club, your top performers can choose and design their own bucket-list sales incentive travel experience.
Reach new heights with a private helicopter flight over Yosemite and 5-nights at the park.
Treat your family to a new adventure with a 5-night visit to sunny San Diego and a week of private surf lessons.
Challenge your comfort zones on a 7-day kitesurfing camp and explore magical Spain.
The Blueboard rewards platform is specially designed to help reps stay motivated. Using our incentive app, your reps can choose an experience from our menu to work toward at the beginning of a sales incentive program, like pinning a picture to a corkboard. They haven’t earned the reward, yet, but they can see it, imagine it, talk about it—all of which drives them to reach their goals.
Winning sales reps work one-on-one with a dedicated Concierge to create their custom experience itinerary. We’ll handle the logistics, payment, and fine details. Reps can use their reward whenever they want because Blueboard rewards don’t expire. Note: If you, as an Admin, want to set expiration dates, we’re happy to accommodate that in our platform.
To date, we’ve sent more than 100,000 employees #blueboarding in 125+ countries. We’ll look forward to discussing more details around your employee locations on our first discovery call. Request a demo to meet with our team—and get started with Blueboard, today.
Nope. We offer experiential rewards for every kind of employee, including a number of curated in-home and local reward experiences for sales reps who might prefer to stay close to home. Some of our favorite luxury in-home rewards include infrared saunas, in-home golf simulators, or a new Peloton bike. We also offer plenty of rewards your reps can share with their families and friends.
Yes. Blueboard rewards have a monetary value, which means most government tax agencies, like the IRS in the US, require taxes to be paid on them. As to who pays, we feel that it’s best if the employer pays the tax, using an accounting technique called “grossing up” to calculate the payment to the rep. For more detailed information check out this blog on employee reward taxation.
While we continue to listen to our clients and evolve our product, Blueboard does not currently have leaderboard functionality. Our platform enables organizations to reward and incentivize employees with experiences; our incentive features allow incentive program participants to browse and select an experience to work toward from our curated menus. This tool also allows participants to redeem a reward they’ve earned from an incentive program for either the experience they selected at program kickoff or different experience from the value bucket experience menu.
Employees who earn a Blueboard reward will be notified by email. From there, they can log into our website where they can redeem for their choice of top-tier experiences at home, in their local city, or abroad. Once they select an experience, our Concierge team works one-on-one with the employee to plan and schedule their event. Check out this quick video for more information on the recipient experience.
Blueboard rewards don’t expire, which means sellers can use them whenever they want. Note: If you, as an Admin, want to set expiration dates, we’re happy to accommodate that in our platform.
Award recipients must click on a non-editable waiver checkbox to redeem their reward. Once a recipient finds the experience they want to try, and before they can book, recipients must opt in and sign a booking liability waiver. Recipients sign by checking a box that acknowledges awareness of any rules and risks. This automated agreement is built into the Blueboard platform––and is a legally binding contract between the recipient and your organization––which is an additional layer of legal protection. Admins can also add an additional, customized liability waiver into their Blueboard system. Learn more about how Blueboard addresses liability when rewarding with experiences.
